Our Role
We examined the recruitment capabilities of collecting and signing college and professional athletes’, including player management, media engagements, and salary negotiation. Additionally, we looked at the back-office operations, which involve AirTable for CRM, QuickBooks for Accounting, JustWorks for HR, and Microsoft for operational support. We also reviewed account receivable and collections, including account payable, purchasing (PO workflow), performance/utilization, managerial, financial dashboard reporting, and integration consideration.
Results
After conducting a thorough analysis of the business workflow, we have identified certain IT security gaps that could impact the integration with the Strategic Buyer. To address these gaps, we recommend segmenting system data prior to closing, deploying new corporate hardware with security features for each employee, and implementing better governance processes when onboarding new employees. Our primary focus was reviewing the current state and any risks with carving out the corporate data.
